Individual script consultation and professional mentoring:

Cheryl Coons provides clear, expert, and timely feedback for writers in a supportive and encouraging way. She also provides career guidance and mentoring for writers of musicals who are navigating the process of submissions to development programs and producing theatres. Whether you have a completed draft of a musical, a submission sample you’d like feedback on, a project that is at a crossroads, or simply an idea you’d like to develop as a musical, Cheryl can offer a helpful perspective on what you’re creating, and tools to finish the job. Her goal is to encourage and inspire you, give you concrete feedback to support you in refining your writing, and help you create a plan for next steps for developing and marketing your work.
